The hybrid plant that produces Lavandin Super, Essential Oil Organic is a mix of true lavender (angustifolia) & spike lavender (latifolia). The plant is grown in the more mountainous areas of France, at higher altitudes of that of standard Lavender. It carries the same aroma to that of Lavender however with more of a sharper & stronger scent. Used in a wide variety of products predominantly to fragrance, whether it a candle, lotion or soap.
